Job Purpose: To sell the entire range of Bentley new and used cars and meet agreed targets for both sales volume and retained gross profit.

Key Objectives.

To sell the maximum number of Bentley new and used vehicles via the use of an effective sales process, whilst at the same time achieve the best retained profit for the dealership.

Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles offered for trade in together with the Brand Manager and service department depending on the age.

Maintain showroom and displays to the required Bentley standard.

Using various sources, prospect for new and used car customers on a regular basis to create additional sales opportunities.

Follow precisely and consistently the Giltrap Group and Bentley Motors sales process.

Manage the preparation and handover of sold vehicles to customers ensuring that the customer is given a full briefing on the operation of their new car and its controls.  

 

Introduce customers to Service Departmental staff at handover in order that they are aware of the facilities and procedures for booking in.

Through the effective use of a follow up process, maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers to ensure that relationships are maintained for potential repeat business & attendance at Bentley events.

Develop and maintain full product knowledge of all products, accessories, prices and key features of major competitors such as Rolls Royce , Aston Martin & “upper luxury ” models from BMW , Mercedes & Maserati.

Ensure all customer information, sales activities, vehicle documentation and other relevant information is kept and maintained accurately and comprehensively in Dealerpro & Bentley CRM.

To participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales penetration and to take part fully in off-site promotions run by the department.

The right person is one that understands the difference between price and value , between good service and great service , and one that can develop peer to peer relationships with high net worth individuals. You will have the ability to have “big conversations” that not only result in a sale, but result in repeat business and referrals.

 

Bentley is the opposite of mass production and whilst the sales numbers may be less than you are used to, the pressure comes from creating demand, networking, and seeking out opportunities that others would fail to see.
