PDI Centre Supervisor Manager - Giltrap North Shore

Giltrap North Shore is one of New Zealand's most successful Holden and Kia dealerships. We have a range of new and used vehicles representing two of the country's leading automotive brands.

Our Dealership is expanding and we are currently in the process of completing a brand new purpose built PDI Centre. We require a sensational individual to join our outstanding and vibrant Dealership in Glenfield.  This is an excellent career opportunity within the Giltrap Group.
As our PDI Centre Manager you will be expected to oversee the preparation & storage of all our new and used vehicles & accessories, as well as wheel alignment and tyre facilities. It will also be your responsibility to ensure your team are motivated, productive and efficient.
It is essential that you have a professional manner and the ability to communicate with people at various levels, it is also expected that you will be confident with your computer skills as you will be required to operate our Dealer Management System, Excel & email.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage the inspection of stock as it is delivered in line with manufacturer requirements
· Manage storage of new vehicles.
· Manage the preparation of all new vehicle Pre-Delivery Inspections and accessory installation within allowable timeframes to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.

· Manage reconditioning of all used vehicles to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
· Create & set clearly defined quality control standards and monitor compliance.
· Plan and organise day to day functions of PDI Centre and scheduling of work.
· The health, safety and wellbeing of staff.
· Maintain the housekeeping of the workshop and surrounding areas
· Ensure all workshop operations a carried out in accordance with Health & Safety, Manufacturer and Dealership Policies and Procedures.
· Communication with Internal staff, Manufacturers and suppliers
· Work with line managers to identify opportunities or revenue streams
· Work together with other departments to ensure Teams Strategy is in line with Dealership.

Experience and Skills
· Experience with Dealerpro or similar system would be an advantage.
· Competency and speed with Excel & Outlook.
· Excellent verbal and written communications to various levels.
· Experience managing or supervising a team of technicians.
· Ability to multitask and thrive under pressure.
· Ability to motivate team to ensure targets are met.
· Full NZ Drivers Licence.
