Holden's All-New Workhorse Clocks On For Duty

Today is the official launch of the all-new Holden Colorado and there are only a few days remaining before the first deliveries arrive in New Zealand!

Holden officially launches the highly-anticipated new-generation Colorado today, just days ahead of the first Colorado deliveries to New Zealand customers.

New from the ground up, the 2012 Colorado range benefits from a powerful new range of Duramax turbo diesel engines, bold clean-sheet exterior and interior design, segment-leading towing capability, surefooted driving dynamics and serious 4x4 credentials.

Holden engineers and designers contributed significant input to Colorado’s global development program, ensuring the new light truck meets the specific needs of New Zealand customers.

The Colorado line-up covers a vast array of choices, from the DX Single Cab 4x2 starting at $38,400 to the range-topping LT-Z 4x4 Crew Cab featuring sports bar, side steps and 17” alloy wheels standard from $61,900.

Holden’s ultimate workhorse, the Colorado features up to 1-tonne payload regardless of powertrain and up to 3.5-tonne towing capacity on all 2.8-litre-powered variants.

Holden New Zealand Managing Director, Jeff Murray said that this new Colorado is the most capable light truck ever produced by General Motors.
