Set in the icy expanse of the Southern Alps is the Southern Hemisphere Proving Grounds, where a truly unique motoring experience awaits. Icy circuits and crunching snow provide excellent conditions for exhilarating ice driving. 

Two different sessions provide testing, adrenaline-fuelled exercises for both novice drivers and for drivers who have completed an Audi ice experience before.

Challenge yourself and discover a new appreciation for Audi technology as you push our latest vehicles to their limits under the watchful eye of enthusiastic instructors.

Standard Drive Experience

Get ready for a full day out on the ice, and undertake numerous ice driving exercises on your own private ice field.

Sharpen your skills on the compacted snow and ice test tracks under the guidance of a qualified Audi driving instructor. Steer, counter steer, stabilise, and drift on ice! Master different driving challenges including oversteer and understeer, ABS braking, lane changing and compete in a timed slalom.

Experience a whole new dimension of driving, and gain a more assured driving style, while learning to control and deploy the phenomenal capabilities of quattro® all-wheel drive to ever greater effect on the icy surface.

Taste driving pleasure at its purest in nothing short of stunning surroundings.

Pro Drive Experience

A more advanced ice driving experience designed to challenge those who have already completed an Audi ice experience. You will recap the initial highlights of Audi ice experience as a warm up before tackling more advanced driving manoeuvres.
 
Set yourself new challenges and strap yourself in for plenty of high performance driving behind the wheel. At Audi ice experience pro, advanced driving exercises are designed to fine-tune your driving abilities and as you learn the art of control and the special knowledge of driving to the conditions, you’ll develop an even greater appreciation for Audi vehicles and their handling dynamics.
 
Under the professional guidance of our instructors, you’ll be able to better yourself at the wheel, taking your mastery of the vehicle to even greater heights on the ice. Then demonstrate your supreme precision on the handling course that concludes the event.
 
Quite apart from all the fun at the wheel, this is a course that gives you an opportunity to push the vehicle to its absolute limits and practise controlling it in such situations.
