Volkswagen Off-Road Driver Training Day

On Saturday we hosted nineteen Amarok and Touareg owners out at the stunning Lyons Farm in the Mangatawhiri Valley for a fun, family day of off-road driving.

Guests were split into four teams and took part in four activities during the day – hill climbing and descending, river crossings, towing and backing skills, and swerving Tiguans around a slalom course.

We also enjoyed a BBQ lunch with the meat supplied from the farm itself – Te Kainga Meat http://www.tekainga.co.nz/.

At the end of the day we all lined up for a twenty-five Amarok and Touareg strong tag-along around the farm for some stunning views and to test our newfound off-road skills.

The weather really turned it on for us and everyone enjoyed the day out of the big smoke, staff included.
