Holden Delivers Birthday Treat to Colorado Place Resident

Frank Hanley of Colorado Place has enjoyed a birthday to remember, when he was presented with a brand new Holden Colorado at his house in Auckland yesterday.

The Holden Colorado was the main prize on offer as part of the Colorado Place ‘Welcome to New Zealand’ event, a street party staged by Holden alongside residents to celebrate the arrival of the new model in New Zealand.

“We all had a heap of fun at the party and the icing on the cake was when our house number was selected from the lucky draw,” said birthday boy, Frank Hanley.

“I’ve been looking forward to this day for a few weeks and in the meantime have been reading all about the new model following its recent launch in New Zealand.  The fact the delivery of the new Colorado coincides with my birthday makes this presentation even the more special.”

The Hanley’s are planning to get out and about exploring New Zealand with their new diesel powered super truck, including a possible trip to the deep south with a return via the West Coast.

Holden New Zealand General Manager Marketing, Marnie Samphier, was on hand to present Frank and his wife Christine with the keys to their new Colorado.

“The Hanley’s couldn’t want for a better vehicle in which to clock up some kilometres as part of a road trip,” said Ms Samphier.

“The new Colorado offers class leading new features, a smart new interior with integrated sat-nav as well as car-like ride and handling.

“I’m sure they’re going to have an outstanding experience exploring the country but more so doing it in a very desirable new four-wheel drive vehicle.”
