Kia's sustainability and environmental work is recognised.
Kia is moving up in the wortld and is now ranked in the top 50 Best Global Green Brands for the first time in the companies history - and New Zealand has had a hand in this achievment.
Kia Motors has been named 37th in Interbrand's 2013 list, which produces an annual ranking of sustainability and environmental performance of the world 100 most valuable brands, assessing businesses based on market perception and the actual environmental performance of the company and its products and services.
According to the 50 Best Global Green Brands 2013 study, Kiia has placed eco-managment at the forefront of its brand managment strategy along with its emphasis on quality and and design management sinse 2006. Under this initiative, Kia has made huge strides in improving the performance of its vehicles, with strong focus on enhancing fuel efficeincy with the long term aim of zero emission vehicles.
As a result of its efforts, Kia continues to be recognised as a leader in the environmental sustainability sector.
