Coastguard new Amarok delivery.

21st April. We've recently been proud to hand over the keys for two new V6 Amaroks to our charity partners at Coastguard Northern Region. Both vehicles are driven by Coastguard Operations Managers, to allow them to support the 25 volunteer units across the region to save lives at sea.

As kiwis, we have an affinity with the water – it’s in our blood. That’s why supporting Coastguard and their work in keeping kiwis safe when out enjoying the fantastic water ways throughout Northland, Auckland and the Coromandel is so important to us. You never know when you might need help out on the water, with Coastguard volunteers around the northern region last year bringing 3,997 boaties back home to safety.  Many of our customers use their vehicles to tow their boats and head out to catch the big one, with the strong VW Amarok favoured by the Coastguard Northern Region team for the ease of which it can dependably tow a Rescue Vessel where it’s needed.
