HISTORY BEHIND CAR BADGES

The badges of cars carry with them the whole pride and the whole essence of their makers so automakers make them as special as possible which gave all of us some pretty interesting badges. We look at the history of the Lamborghini and Audi car badges in this article.

Audi had a turbulent history just like many of the European car makers. The four interlocking rings which makes up its badge symbolizes the strong relations between its parent manufacturers Audi, Horch, DKW and Wanderer who were fearsome competitors before the war which brought all of them to their knees, which in turn made them to join together and form Auto Union which later grew into Audi.

One of the most masculine badges has to be that of Lamborghini. After challenging Enzo, Ferruccio Lamborghini started to make his very own supercars and gave them the symbol of a charging bull just like all his other business, Ferruccio Lamborghini chose the charging bull as he was born under the zodiac sign of Taurus. Today after over 40 years the only manufacturer who can take on the beating of the Prancing Horse is got to be the charging bull of Lamborghini.
